Ava and Jackson Deliver a Clean Sweep of the Large Pony Division at Aiken March Madness II.

Aiken, SC – March 8, 2020. Ava Hartman and Sugarbook West Point delivered a clean sweep of the Large Pony Division at the Progressive Show Jumping March Madness II show (USEF A rated), earning blue ribbons in the under saddle class and all four over fences classes.

It was a cold and windy show with the Larges going first on daylight savings time weekend, but, despite numb fingers and rosy cheeks, Ava was all smiles after earning the first division sweep of her career.

“It was an awesome weekend and we love showing in Aiken,” she said. “We definitely have a lot of things to keep working on, but Jackson was a really good boy and we were very fortunate to have consistent rides.”

The pair will be showing next weekend at the Atlanta in the Spring show (USEF AA rated) at Chattahoochie Hills Event Center in Fairburn, Georgia. The Atlanta in the Spring show will mark the one year anniversary of Ava and Jackson’s first time competing together in the Large Pony division.
