After a Long COVID-19 Break From Horse Shows, Ava Qualifies Large Green Pony, Scarlet SF, in Pensacola.

Pensacola, Florida — In her first weekend back showing, Ava catch rode Scarlet SF (owner Dana Karen) at the Pensacola Summer Classic I Horse Show (USEF ‘A’ Rated) in the Large Green Pony Division.  After placing first, first and second on Saturday, the pair ended up with a pair of seconds on Sunday and the Reserve Champion Ribbon for the Large Green Division (behind Chandler Wilks on Orchard Hills Candlelight Sara).  The Reserve Champion placing qualifies Scarlet SF to ride in the Pony National Championship, USEF Pony Finals, in August.

Ava and Jackson also had a number of great rides in the Large Pony division, ending up in 4th place overall.  It was a great equitation weekend for Ava as well with a first place finish in the WIHS Pony Medal (out of 14) and a second place finish in the M&S Pony Medal (out of 15).

Next up, Ava will be riding Medium Pony, Bridlewood In Deemand (owned by Jordan Ayres) in the 2020 Tryon Summer II Show.
