Ava Hartman & Oliver Earn the “Trip of the Day” Award at the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club Charity 1 Horse Show

Tryon, NC – On a sunny weekend in Tryon, Ava Hartman, riding Jordan Ayres’ Oliver, put down Tryon’s Trip of the Day (highest scoring ride for the day at the show) scoring an 86 in the Large Pony conformation round. She and Oliver also earned the Reserve Champion ribbon and second in the Classic with an 80 and an 82. Riding Impression (Poe), the pair put down solid rides among top competition in the Junior Hunter 3’6″ division, including a 4th place finish (out of 22) in the combined Junior Hunter Classic (80, 82).

Next up is Traverse City Michigan for the Junior Hunter National Championships (East) where Ava and Poe, riding with Don Steward Stables, will be competing for the Junior Hunter 3’6″ 15 & Under National Championship.
