“It was Poe’s and my first time riding on grass, which was a lot of fun. I thought that both rounds were ok. We slipped a bit when taking off at the trot fence, which probably kept us from scoring higher, but I’m happy with the result.” Hartman said after the show.

The pair also rode in the combined Junior Hunter 3’6″ Division. In a field of 9 competitive riders, they pulled in 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 5th ribbons, which put them in 4th overall for the division.
