Ava Hartman, Impression and Bronson CR have an Impressive Two Weeks in Wellington.

Wellington, FL – Ava Hartman had a busy two weeks at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida. In Week 1 (2023 WEF Premier), she and Impression (Poe) had a competitive outing in the Younger Junior Hunter 3’6″ Division, including rounds of 84.75 and 85. She also showed Bronson CR in the Jumper Division scoring a 6th Place in the 1.15M Classic Round.

In Week 2 (2023 WEF 1), Ava and Poe had several more successful rounds in the Junior Hunter 3’6″ Division, including first and second place over fence rides. The tri-colors came down to the final ride where Ava missed out on Reserve Champion when Vivian Golden (on Chamonix) scored an 83.5 to top Ava and Poe’s 83.

Ava and Bronson missed the Classic Round in the 1.15M Jumpers due to an early flight on Sunday, but the pair managed an exciting 2nd place (out of 22) in the division ride. Ava also rode in the Taylor Harris (THIS) Equitation class and finished 7th (out of 39) on Roscoe.

Poe, ridden by Quinn Larimer, had an exciting Thursday in the Performance Hunter 3’3″ Division where the pair scored an 86.75 and earned a second place ribbon in a class of 73 riders.

“Wow, I love it so much down here. Wellington is so beautiful. Poe and Bronson were the best boys both weeks competing against some of the best riders in the country. I was super proud to see that we could hold our own and thrive in this competitive atmosphere” Hartman said before leaving for home. “I can’t wait to come back.”
